The Indiana Railway Museum operates about sixteen miles of track in Orange and Dubios counties, running from French Lick to Dubois. The French Lick Scenic Railway route goes through the Hoosier National Forest and the 2200 foot long Burton Tunnel.The Indiana Railroad Museum is a tourist railroad that offers scenic train rides to visitors on a variety of different types of railroad equipment. A gift shop inside the museum offers unique gifts for the visitors to browse.

Climb aboard the French Lick Scenic Railway as we travel to Jasper, Indiana for the traditional German-theme Strassenfest!

Once in Jasper, the train has a 4.5 hour layover at the Spirit of Jasper Train and Depot allowing you to enjoy hours of food, fun and festivities.  Sample German cuisine, frolic in the "Beer Garden" and experience live music & entertainment, then hop on board again for a leisurely train ride back to French Lick.

The Indiana Railroad Museum enters Dubois County about six miles from its terminal in French Lick. It travels about ten miles to the town of Dubois where it stops for a period of time, then returns to French Lick.

A ride on the French Lick Scenic Railway is a fun event that the entire family will enjoy.
