Indiana Space Complex

Indiana Space Complex

The Indiana Space Complex has as its goal to honor all men and women who have been a part of the U. S. Space Program and to provide space themed educational opportunities for all age groups. The venue will be unique and world class, designed to accentuate the region’s strong space related heritage, assist at strengthening statewide tourism, encourage new local economic growth, and aid with the regional learning experience. As only one of two counties in the United States boasting three heroic space explorers, Lawrence County is the logical setting for such an endeavor.

The Indiana Space Complex will be located in Lawrence County midway between Bedford and Mitchell.
The 80-acre site, known locally as the Smith Farm, is located on Dixie Highway, just
west of Highway 37 and accessible from the Steven’s Lane turn off.
