Salatin’s Orchard
Donna and Richard Salatin started their orchard in 1984 as a hobby. It has since grown into a full-time business. Located on Chesterville Road in Moores Hill, Salatin's Orchard grows and sells 24 varieties of apples. The Salatins also make their own cider. Apples that have fallen on the ground, however, are never used for cider or sold. Instead, the fallen apples are donated to the Red Wolf Sanctuary in Dillsboro to feed the bears that live there.

Business hours at Salatin’s Orchard:
Monday-Sunday, 10 am - 7 pm
(All times are EDST/Cincinnati time).

Berries, pears, winter squash, honey and apple butter also are grown or produced and sold at Salatin’s, depending on season.
