The Towers and Spires tour begins where the Canals and Rivers Trail Auto Tour leaves off and would be a great way to spend a second day touring southeastern Indiana. The trail begins in Oldenburg, Indiana, known as the "Village of Spires," because of the towering church spires that dominate the small town. The fifty-one mile trail includes the towns of Batesville, Versailles, Napoleon and Greensburg.
