The 8,075 acre State recreation contains the 1,400-acre lake Cagles Mill Lake and the largest waterfall in Indiana, Catarac Falls. The Indiana Department of Natural Resouces constructed the lake in 1952, The first flood control project in Indiana. The park contains a state of the art Aquatic Center, picnic areas, two boat ramps and a short, handicap accessible hiking trail.
